One step at a time

I looked far out and hoped some1 would notice
I tried to be patient but it seems as if patience doesn't fancy me at all
I've been taking the steps one at a time
So why does it feels like the gravel is slowly cracking under my feet
The walls are tumbling down
I backed away only to regain focus of whats in my presence
Not like I planned for this
If I was smart I would have prepared
But like many I fell down and now I have to start from the bottom
I was told u have to crawl before u walk but if I learned to walk with no help those rules didn't apply to me
Now I'm learning that in order to get what u want it takes a lot of sweat and perseverance
